Get Your Hands on Some History!

Prospect Hill Cemetery invites you to join our dedicated preservation team! Help us protect Omaha’s heritage, restore historic monuments, and preserve the memory of those resting here.

What We Provide

Expert training and supervision

All necessary preservation tools and materials

Friendly, supportive team environment

Volunteer Requirements

Work gloves (strongly recommended)
Safety glasses & face mask or respirator (recommended; used periodically)
Steel-toed footwear (mandatory for participants assisting with grave marker installation
Can be purchased for a minimal amount from WalMart or Amazon. Don't have steel-toed footwear but still want to help? Come by and we'll put you to work on less hands-on projects! ALL volunteers are welcome.
