This holiday season, you have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by joining us in Remembering, Honoring, and Teaching. Sponsor a wreath, volunteer your time, or invite your friends to lend a hand. Mark your calendars for December 14, 2024, as we come together for Wreaths Across America Day.
2024 will be the third year Omaha's historic Prospect Hill Cemetery will be participating in Wreaths Across America. The idea is simple - a live, handmade balsam wreath will be placed on the grave of a veteran. That veteran's name will be said aloud as the wreath is placed, honoring their service and keeping their memory alive.
We hope you will join us Saturday, December 14th at 11:00 AM, at the cemetery or via our livestream, for a brief Wreaths Across America ceremony before laying the wreaths upon the graves.
Volunteers Welcome and Appreciated!
Immediately following our ceremony, we will gather our volunteers for brief instruction and assignments to lay the wreaths on the graves of our veterans. If you would like to volunteer, simply be at the cemetery at 11:00 AM!
